1st Mother's Day Card

So I realized that I never shared my Mother's Day cards on here. This year I made three which is usually the same amount I make every year. One for my mom (duh), one for my boyfriend's mom and one for my friend Kevin's mom who was like my stand-in mom in college. These three ladies are very important to me and each card is very different.

For my own mom, I found the cutest Penny Black stamp of a kitty that I knew I could make look like my own cat, Balthazar. And since the card was going to be from the both of us, I decided he should make an appearance on the card as well.

After I colored in the stamp with Copics, I used a special scissor cutter to trim the edges. I embossed the red background and cut the sentiment from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. It was quick and simple. Hope you like it! The other two are yet to come. =)
